Accuracy is more important than preserving an earlier version of a statement. When a material factual error is identified, the article should be checked, corrected and, when useful to readers, noted as updated.
What counts as a correction
Typographical fixes that do not change meaning can be made silently. Errors in product facts, safety-relevant information, attribution or other substantive claims should receive a clearer correction record where appropriate.
How to request a correction
Use the Contact page once its verified backend has been configured. Include the page URL, the statement in question and a reliable source or explanation.
Disagreements
Not every disagreement is a factual error. Editorial judgement and preference will be reviewed against the article’s stated purpose and available evidence.
