Jalan Teroos

Editorial Policy

How the publication selects topics, writes practical guides and approaches corrections.

Jalan Teroos aims to make sportswear and footwear decisions easier to understand without disguising advertising as independent evidence. Current pages are educational buying frameworks, not hands-on product reviews.

Reader-first scope

Each guide is based on a distinct reader need, such as toe space in running shoes, whether trail tread is necessary or what a moisture-wicking label actually means. Editors should avoid publishing near-identical keyword variations that add no new decision, example or check.

Claims and evidence

Claims about fit and construction are distinguished from claims about performance, injury prevention or health. Where a statement requires scientific or technical evidence, its scope should be checked against reliable source material and revised if uncertain. We do not invent product tests, measurements, survey data or professional qualifications.

Commercial relationships

Advertisements, affiliate links, gifted products and sponsorships must be identified when introduced. Editorial decisions should not be changed merely because a product pays a commission; any material relationship must be disclosed on relevant pages.

Updates

Articles should be reviewed when guidance, referenced standards or site functionality changes, and when readers identify an error. A visible correction or update note should accompany a material change when it would help readers understand what was corrected.

Corrections

Report factual errors with the URL, quoted statement and a supporting explanation through the contact route once it is operational. We distinguish corrections of fact from changes in personal product preference.
